Been a couple times for drinks and food, however this time booked onto the brewery tour as well! Evan was lovely and very informative. Definitely recommend to any in the local area or passing through!

As a beer reviewer and supporter of small breweries and craft beer, I thought I'd give Renegade a try.. ..I can't say I'm impressed. Stood around for 15 minutes with no greeting, walked down to the bar in a last ditch attempt for a quick beer, got told to go back to the front and someone would get a table sorted as its table service only. Waited again and eventually the same person that was behind the bar comes up to book a table. I decline, as if the service I've already seen is what to expect, I'll just forget the idea and head elsewhere. No issues. I'll just buy some beers and make tracks. Select some beers, then continue to stand for a further 10 minutes waiting to be served at the counter. May I add. If I was totally dishonest, due to how things were handled, I could have genuinely left the premises with arms full of beer ect and nobody would have been so much as the wiser! There are flaws that need seeing to. I'm not sure I'll even be back.. I can't say I'm overly impressed...

Had a fantastic group meal for my birthday. Staff were wonderful, drinks excellent and food was incredible. Genuinely cannot fault this place, it’s got a great atmosphere and the staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. 100% recommend for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The wings are always 10/10 and the Cuban burger was fantastic.

Love this place, good food, fantastic beers and a nice place to hangout. We've been both as a family with young children and with groups of friends and on both occasions it was great. Our kids loved the food - particularly the pizza. There is a little outdoor space and they liked exploring through the plants (rightly or wrongly) - there are no outdoor children's play facilities, so you may need something to entertain them.

Had great food, drank great beer. Was spoiled for choice on the beer front so went for a "beer flight" or four third-of-a-pint glasses. All good stuff. The room is in a converted cow shed split in half with a glass wall, half is the working brewery, half the shop / taproom / restaurant. It's a nice place to be on a summery afternoon. Was a mixed crowd on a Thursday evening, seemed popular with families.

Light & airy, excellent service and extremely tasty range of food with plenty of gluten free & vegan options (burgers, pizza, etc) washed down by lashings of good value, thirst quenching beer which melds the new more experimental craft brews with the tried & tested traditional bitters and even a mild. The Big Greek was an amazing stack of grilled vegetables in a sour dough bun disguised as a burger & chips (£14.50) while the meaties enjoyed their pulled pork Cuban cheese burger & chips (£16.50), both of which are best tackled with a knife & fork unless you have plates for hands. Well worth a visit, about 30mins from Reading/Caversham with plenty of parking and seating inside and out.

Great place in the country to have a great beer and take in the view. The beer and food are superb and you won’t be disappointed. Truly a great place to visit for families, couples and friends

Lovely little find on a Sunday afternoon. Food was lovely, good portion sizes and a reasonable price. Really friendly and helpful staff and dogs welcome too. I wasn’t sure what beer to try and the member of staff even asked if I’d like to try a little of one first. Definitely will go back if visiting the area again.

Always liked the place for its ambience and food, and of course beer, being great. What lets any such establishment down is the service and I must say I find service in England in shops, restaurants, retail outlets to be poor. Our server seemed to be having a bad day and wasn't very happy. I'm sure we caught her on a rare off moment. She didn't seem to know if we could order food 15 minutes before the kitchen closed and wasn't sure what a blonde beer was. We also had to find our own knives and forks and salt. That said the food was good and came quickly. Another member of staff stepped in to help on the beer front. The Renegade Brewery has great potential to be even better. Edit: Thanks for management reply. I feel bad about being too personal on our server and have edited the review accordingly. Everyone deserves a second chance and the last thing I want to do is hurt anyone's feelings.
